Teen sentenced for 'Blaster' worm variant

There ya go. Busted. In the slammer, spendin time at the ironbar hotel. The little house (that's for two years less a day, for those that don't know :)

That'll teach ya to stay up late, plagiarising someone else's code with minor modifications enough to pretend to call your own. That'll teach you to spend sleepless nights reading hex and C++ till your eyes go fuzzy and you start thinking in AND / NOR / NAND logic instead of human logic.

Hey wait a minute...this sounds like most of the ppl I hang out with...well, shame anyway.
Love grows from back seat of NY cab - Cabbie moonlights as matchmaker

While this may not be an article about technology, it is insightful: with all the high-tech matchmaking going on these days, the Internet, telephone chat lines, classified ads, dating services - this article makes me think "why didn't anyone think of this before??"

Will Mac Mini spur petite-PC revolution?

Running Windows viruses with Wine

Really funny article. Now, I'm not posting this to get into a "which is better, Windows or Linux" debate, or to argue which is more secure, blah blah blah. Personally, I dig them both (actually, I dig COMPUTERS, regardless of OS), for different reasons.

That said, this is a hilarious article!! Read on...

Professor's Saturn Experiment Forgotten

"An experiment onboard the Huygens probe didn't run as planned because someone forgot to turn it on. The team lead for the experiment has put eighteen years of his life into the project, just to watch it not happen after a seven year ride to its destination on Titan." -jdray

...I'd love to hear the realization of this around the water cooler.

'Fear Factor' sued for rat-eating episode - Jan 7, 2005: "CLEVELAND, Ohio (AP) -- A viewer is suing NBC for $2.5 million, contending that he threw up because of a 'Fear Factor' episode in which contestants ate rats mixed in a blender."

Yep. A viewer is suing. Because he "hit his head" trying to escape the TV.

Sheesh, imagine how the contestents felt. Maybe the looser could also vomit and join the suit.

Maybe I could collectively sue all the advertisers for "great pain" and "mental anguish" because I can't escape the TV commercials fast enough.
